The GS type pulling tool wireline is used to pull inner fishing necks, which can cut off and release an object downward and is usually is used to throw and fishing the lock cylinder, packer, bridge plug and others with inner fishing necks. After connecting the GU joint (upward shear joint), it can be converted to be an upward shear and releasing tool.

1. Disassembly:
1.1 Remove the shear pin with the tool for installing pins.
1.2 Clamp shear pin seat with a vice.
1.3 Screw off the set screw at the flush end of internal hexagon on the fishing neck with an Allen wrench.
1.4 Lock the opposite side of the mandrel head with a wrench, lock the bottom of the fishing neck with a pipe wrench, and screw off the fishing neck.
1.5 Lock the bottom of pipe wrench and screw off the skirt.
1.6 Pull out the mandrel and take out all parts.
2. Assembly:
2.1 Clip the fishing claw into the groove of the fixed seat of claw and put it into the skirt.
2.2 Insert the mandrel from the bottom of the skirt.
2.3 Put the secondary spring, spring seat and main spring in the skirt successively.
2.4 Screw on the shear pin seat and reserve a shear pin hole.
2.5 Screw on the fishing neck and install the set screw of the flush end of internal hexagon.
2.6 Install the shear pin with the tool for installing pins.
2.7 Screw up the skirt.
1. After disassembling the tool, inspect the damages of all parts and change the damaged parts.
2. While assembling the tool, the thread surface shall be painted with a thin layer of grease.
3. After assembly, the connection threads of fishing neck shall be protected with thread protector and marked for standby application.
