A knuckle jar is used combined with running tools and other equipment by operators to transmit effective jarring forces up and down.
The knuckle jar is similar in design to the knuckle joint. However, the knuckle jar design incorporates a length extension at the socket that allows the ball to move vertically for light jarring.

1) Before use, select proper type of jar type according to practical operating environment and conditions, and don't use them blindly.
2) While using, earnestly inspect whether the threads of all parts are intact or loose to prevent some parts from falling off when entering the well and cause accidents.
3) After use, maintain the tools properly for next use.
