The tubing end locator is composed of a grooved body and a locating key loaded by spring and fixed by pin in it. A shear pin limits the outward movement and rotation of the locating key.
When the tool appears at the end of oil pipe, the locating key will stop at the location approximately vertical to the body to prevent the locator at the end of oil pipe from entering into the oil again, and the shear pin can lift the tool.
1. Before entering the well, inspect that whether the key can upspring smoothly and inspect the threads and fishing necks at both ends at the same time.
2. When the tool is not used temporarily, paint the connecting thread with lubricating grease and keep it with thread protector.
