Wireline SS Pulling Tool is a Shear down Pulling Tool for External Fishing Neck and designed to run and retrieve sub surface equipment with external fishing neck. The tool can be released by jarring down. Shear Down Pulling Tools: shear against the force on the Core, or Cylinder, for Internal Fishing Necks.
Care should be taken to inspect the dogs, skirt, and fishneck for damage such as metal fatigue, cracking , or deformity of the metal.
1. Before lowering the tool, inspect whether the connection threads of the tool are loose.
2. Maintain it in time after use.
