Wireline clamp wireline is a tool for temporarily clamping steel wire/cable when lifting lubricator at wellhead.
Wireline clamp wireline is often used to clamp steel wire or cable on the ground during lifting of blowout preventer in operation and fishing operation to facilitate operation.
Size | Applicable Steel Wire | Safe Load |
0.092"~7/32" | 0.108 | 25000N |
0.092"~0.187" | 0.108 | 20000N |
0.063"~0.187" | 0.125 | 20000N |
1/8"~5/16" | 0.125 | 30000N |
Tools can be made in any size required.
The structure principle of the wireline clamp wireline is similar to the double crank mechanism, which is mainly composed of lifting ring, connecting plate, lock block and chuck body. When the bail is pulled, the bail connecting connecting plate will press the locking block on the chuck body, so that the steel wire or cable is clamped in the V-shaped groove on the chuck body. The tighter the bail is pulled, the tighter the steel wire is clamped.
1. Clamp the wire/cable:
1.1. First push the lifting ring down as shown in the figure to open the jaws of the wire clamp so that the steel wires and cables can enter the jaws;
1.2. Loosen the lifting ring, under the action of the internal torsion spring, the jaws are automatically closed, and the steel wire or cable is clamped in the jaws;
1.3. Connect the lifting ring to the blowout prevention pipe with a rope.
2. Loosen the steel wire/cable:
2.1. Tighten the steel wire with a winch or manually tighten the steel wire;
2.2. Push the lifting ring downwards and remove the wire clamp from the steel wire.
Apply lubricating grease to the moving parts regularly.
